Don't throw this one away!

Not only is there a very comprehensive article on Bill Werwage's 2004 World Champion P47 Thunderbolt, complete with plans and building advice but there is a new column dedicated to Control Line Aerobatics authored by Phil Granderson!

Wow - these are great developments!

If you like this kind of content I would suggest e-mailing Bob Hunt and letting him know how much it is appreciated - I did.

I will be sure to let Mr. Hunt know that the issue is fantastic! 

MA does have to cater to the whole crowd of AMA members.  CLPA is a tiny portion, so we will not get the coverage we would really like to have, but we do get a bigger share than the "numbers" might justify. 

The P-47 is a must build, and I already have a wing underway!  ;D  #^  j1 f~

I too liked what I saw in this latest issue of MA.
And.............I think we'd see more if we each put in a little time and effort to send pictures and letters to MA.
In all these years I haven't once sent a photo to MA. No wonder pics of my planes are never in there.
In many ways model aviation and c/l are like a high school dance. Wherein the boys are on one side of the gym and the girls are on the other.
How many of us even know who our AMA District VP is? or care?
I'm thinking that AMA and PAMPA are following the old adage-"never let your right hand know what your left hand is doing".

It's going to be tuff for this curmudgeon to get rolling and begin to get more involved in MA and AMA but I'm going to get started. I have enough pictures to slow down even the most advanced computer hardware and I'm going to start sending them in to MA just like I do with SN.

there must be quite a fue of us out there  brodak/rsm/randy smith/ ect.alot of others are making a living on there sales so M/A should have something to keep our interest.

I got a reply to the note I sent to Bob Hunt in reference to the July MA. Although it was a positive reply, he pretty much explained the ecconomics of the reasons thing are the way they are.  Any way, bottom line seemed to be, if there is news sent in it should get some notice and a good possibity of showing up in the mag.
