Title: JROTC Fundraiser for Ben Mills

I spoke with Sparky to make sure it's okay to post, he gave his blessing. 

Everyone,   

As a freshman this year, I am taking JROTC.  I am asking for your help

We are having a fundraiser to cover the funds needed to compete at the State and National level in Air Rifle, Drill and Raider Competitions.  Our minimum goal is $6,000.  It would be awesome to exceed this goal if possible.  I will be working this fundraiser 17-26 October.  If you agree this is a worthy cause, I ask that you consider visiting our fundraiser web site:  http://ForFundsOnline.com  Use Participant ID #: 220663.

The US Government is still under Sequester which means our Army funds are very limited.  The bulk of Sequester cuts fall on the defense budget, and this is where the funds for all JROTC programs originate.  Our money is part of the Army's budget and because we are a training unit, we bare the brunt of those cuts and we don't receive the money needed for uniform alterations, laundry and extracurricular activities.  So our fundraising becomes very important to keep our program the best in Missouri! 

If you would prefer to make a donation instead of a purchase, it would be greatly appreciated.  For every $5 donation, I will receive credit for a purchase.  Please make checks payable to Ozark JROTC Booster Club and mail to: Ozark High School, Attn: JROTC Depatment, P O Box 166, Ozark, MO  65721.  Please add a note explaining that I should receive credit for the donation.
