At Black Hawk Models we have decided to start a new program that is for all control line fliers. Part 1 is for kids and part 2 is for adults. Our efforts are to introduce more people into control line flying and is some part we need your assistance.
THE BLACK HAWK SQUADRON
PART 1 (kids):
Submit their Name, Address, and Phone number plus $1.00 registration fee. In return they receive an introduction letter and a OFFICIAL BLACK HAWK FLIGHT LOG BOOK. They must perform 3 TO 5 control line flights to fill in the log book, then they send in the "Conformation" page at the back of the book. They will receive an OFFICIAL BLACK HAWK PILOTS CERTIFICATE suitable for framing, ID CARD, Sample FLYING MODELS MAGAZINE, Black Hawk Squadron Newsletter that contains model plans and news about control line events, Special prices on Black Hawk Models products, and $5.00 in Black Hawk Dollars.
PART 2 (Adults):
Submit their Name, Address, and Phone number plus $2.00 registration fee. In return they receive an introduction letter and a OFFICIAL BLACK HAWK FLIGHT TRAINERS LOG. They must perform 9 control line flights with 3 different students to fill in the log, then they send in the "Conformation" page. They will receive an OFFICIAL BLACK HAWK PILOTS TRAINING CERTIFICATE suitable for framing, ID CARD, Sample FLYING MODELS MAGAZINE, Black Hawk Squadron Newsletter that contains model plans and news about control line events, Special prices on Black Hawk Models products, and $15.00 in Black Hawk Dollars.
We will need to know where flying sites and clubs are located with points of contact. This is a long term project that we will start in January and re-evaluate it in one year. We will also post special info on our web site and as we acquire more sponsors we will offer more incentives.

Yes, Doc, Part 2 is meant for instructors. There will be other benefits available after the kick off date January 1, 2007. We will be creating a list of posible instrustors in different areas and providing students with contact information. The $15.00 and the other listed incentives is just the begining.
