John Brodak's condition.
« on: September 12, 2013, 02:44:30 PM »
Hi Allen,
This is Buzz Brodak. I have an update for you and anyone you would like to share it with about
John's condition. As of today, September 12, he is doing remarkably  well. His voice is back
to near normal, he is able to eat almost anything, his throat is giving him very little pain, and
he is beginning to regain the few pounds that he lost. The only thing that hasn't bounced
back as quickly as he had hoped is his endurance. He still needs a lot of rest as he plays out
much sooner than he would like. He has been down to the office for a few hours every day,
played pool with Sandy and his regular Wednesday night group and plans on being the DJ
for his High School class reunion this week-end.
I want to thank everyone for their concern, good wishes and prayers.  He received nearly 85
get well cards over the past six weeks and has been mentioned in prayer chains from California
to New York and from Iowa to Florida. We both thank all of the Model Airplane community.
When you are in your darkest hour and are facing the big bad wolf straight on, it's good to
know you're not alone.
God Bless,
Buzz

This is very good news about a fellow C/L enthusiast.  John has helped us as stunt fliers and overall C/L fliers.  I, as many others here, can feel empathy for a fellow cancer patient.  My prayers for John and Buzz will continue.

Hang in there, John - Donna is now three weeks past her final radiation treatment and the energy level is just now starting to pick up and border on normal.  (Whatever that is.)  Be blessed, my friends!

Great news about John.  Yes, the indurance factor will come into play.   Can't thank him enough for what he has done for the model airplane family.  Get well and follow doctor's orders.
