Good movie, I enjoyed reliving the sights and sounds.

Sparky, your final output of the video segments from my camera looks better and more clear than it does in my final output from Windows Movie Maker. If you still have the file of my flight, and have the time, could you RIP it in your editor and send me the file via Dropbox or some way?
Thanks,
Rusty

Just was gonna click to watch a few minutes.....ended up watching the whole thing. That is one right goodie of a looking event!
Way to go Rusty on your Win!!!!
Sweaty shirts and big smiles.
Sure would love to go to the Stunt Camp too but I have several events that fall on both weekends. Hope that will change and I can make it.
I actually have family in Woodruff and Enoree. Though I would not tell them I was there until after as they would distract me big-time. ~^ :##

Very nice video!  It gave  a good feel for the event for someone like me that couldn't make it.

Thanks, Shug. Winning at a place like Triple Tree seems extra special. Sort of an elite feeling venue. And those sapphire blue trophies are pretty sweet too. Holley even allows them in the house. I've had a good Spring contest season this year.

Did y'all hear Mark say at the pilots' meeting that he wants to petition for the World Championships to be held at TT? 90 minutes from my home... that would be fantastic!

In case you couldn't tell, at 31:40, that's Sparky flying his Junar XL in Round 2, right after my pit tour. The wind had shifted so I had to take my camera and trot all the way around to the other side and missed the first part of his flight. Great flight, but a hairy landing, running out of gas exiting the Clover. He did a good job of whipping it to barely make 2 laps before the wheels touched down.

Round 2 was at least 25 degrees hotter causing a lot of last-minute guesswork with fuel loads. Not much wind for the first round; cloudy, cool and nice. But when the sun came out and heated the air up, we had some shifty thermals. I had to wait one out, and Derek burned an extra lap or 3 before one finally cleared, and then the prevailing suddenly switched 180 degrees and stayed that way. Luckily it was blowing across the flatlands both ways, so no turbulence up top to worry about. It was a sweat-fest after lunch.
