The contradictions continue! Two weeks ago or so, when all of this really hit the fan and people were looking for masks to wear, we were told by the "experts' that a mask would really do you no good, unless it was one of the special N95 or what ever they were.! Now we are being told to wear a mask all the time and made out of ANYTHING! We just went under a statewide stay at home order, and St. Louis City and County closed the parks because on the weekends people were gathering in the parks in groups to party and have picnics. So, instead of just breaking up those groups, siting them for the violation and send them home, they preventing every one from using the parks. Now, instead of having a known safe place to walk your dog, fly a model or whatever by yourself or in a group of one or two who you KNOW are not infected, they will be pissing people off who will seek other avenues to try and keep their sanity. The news media has started to run out of really pertinent things to report and talk about, that the news casts have started to look like a telethon!, and all they can report are numbers! And even those vary from source to source. This is being dealt with like we all have anthrax or something, and all the news is dire and depressing. Early one when it was reported that malaria drugs could be effective treatments, the reports were poo pooed by the"experts." The same for when it was suggested that blood platelets from people that were infected and recovered could be effective in helping new patients ward off the infections. Now both have been shown to be effective. The platelet treatment isn't exactly a break through and has been known treatment for other illnesses. I have been trying to avoid a lot of the news casts as it is mostly repetition and negative and trying to make headway on cleaning my garage, basement and working on some small projects. I was supposed to go back to work on the 13th, but I doubt that will happen, so will have a some more time really work on it and maybe get a new model started.
Type at you later,
