Oh how very cool Joe; I saw Art Sholl do ribbon pickups with his inverted. Highly modified though.

I knew Harold Krier, who was the first to modify the Chip and later on add more HP.

Congrats to Joe.. I hope the FAA doesn't give him too much grief changing the registration to the U.S.

Holy cow! What a beauty. Where were those photos taken?  Florida? I've only seen trees like those around here inside of malls in preserved condition.

What I think he needs to do is build a Jim Van Loo chipmunk for classic and paint it like that one.  Of coarse take pictures too.

Thanks guys for the good wishes. Mataining a 60 year old aircraft is a little daughting but you really don't own them you just are a care taker. They fly so nice to fly ,a real treat. Yes the changing of registration  is trouble  but it is done every day. Looking foward to flying the plane.

Didn't know TruTurn made spinners that size. I see you are using an APC reverse rotation prop, so it must be electric.

Joe,
Are you going to keep the RAF paint scheme, or will you repaint the airplane.  (Please not green)

Joe,

Interesting how, like model airplanes, owners of aircraft gravitate towards their likes and interest.

My last aircraft was a Lake LA4-200T.

Real difference in choice.

Your new aircraft, she looks like a sweetheart and I'm sure she now has a good home.

Enjoy your aircraft.

Best of luck!

Charles

Pretty airplane, Joe. I bet you two are glad you decided to buy it! Stockers really fly light and well, I'm told.
DeHavilland built some really nice airplanes.
Any British airplane or car owners rolling their eyes about the Lucas jokes yet?
Chris...

Super Joe what do I have to do to get a ride?   Has Colleen been up in it yet?  Here is a thought, put a set of lead outs on the left wing and  bring it VSC next year.  Ya that's the ticket!  Take care buddy. y1
