Title: Joe Adamusko's new plane
Post by: proparc on June 18, 2012, 04:46:07 PM
High time for me to get back to contributing. Just got this in the mail from Windy. This is Joe Adamusko's new plane. It is electric. No problem with the BOM here.  y1

I believe it is take apart-able...
I spoke with Joe and he built two fuselages....one IC, the other battery...

That is one of the most asthetically pleasing airplanes I have seen in a while! I love it!!!

Is he taking it to Muncie?

Joe's airplanes are always 40 pointers... yes, I know I said Forty Pointer. A perfect example of someone who puts the entire effort in and should be rewarded for it.

It is hard to tell in a picture. Is this airplane smaller than his piped ships?

The airplane has been complete for months. Due to getting some of the electronics in order and time available the initial flights have been put off. The plan is to get together in the coming weeks and start trimming. Joe wants me to be the test pilot, but that's an offer I'm not sure I can accept.

I don't think Joe plans to attend the Nationals anymore, but I can't speak for him.

The airplane is about 590sq".

I agree fully Tom. I have seen the airplane up close and personal and it is beautiful inside and out, literally. Joe vacuum formed the canopy, made the landing gear, the control horns, painted and hand rubbed the APC-E prop and on and on....

Nothing on this airplane is "off the shelf".

Joes stuff is always "Top Shelf"!
This is a perfect example of design, workmanship and finish.
It just drips stunt plane juice, the nectar of the event.

Now see, that's just cool and Joe certainly knows cool. Fabulously done finish and well executed. I love this plane.

Love the plane also - highly dubious if its take apart.

Cannot see any bolt holes for the wings.

Unless its a 1 piece like his spitfire - which it probably is.....

That's a MASTERPIECE.
No surprise, coming from Mr. Adamusko.

Just stunning from every angle.  Joe has a knack for building those elliptical wings too.  Shame he built two fuselages, once he flies the electric he'll NEVER mess with the IC again...
