What a beautiful example of pure aerodynamic art at its finest....except Joe's fingers must really take a beatin' The big 4 blader scares the ----------out of me!
I can only imagine just how much HPowa' must be needed to turn that big 4 blader.
Hummm?
Personally....My flyin' arm just aches thinkin' about flyin something with that much power up front.
Love that colorization too....really SNAPS!

The Adamusko Spitfire/Seafire series is one that he, and Windy U., worked on for a couple years. Originally used ST 60s, but don't know what Joe has in his new one.

is that an i-beam wing ?
-
If Joe is following along with Windy, then he will have a RO-Jett 76 up front. It has plenty of grunt to turn that Gator four blade prop in the picture.
Incredible finish as usual. BW@

Right on about the power...its that RO 76 for sure...as far as the wing? (Check out the reflection on the leadout side of the wing panel. I think I detect rib caps?

oooooooohhhhhhhhhh ok
i think i remember seeing this one at a bergan county meet in jersey,
windy's had the i-beam and joe's had the regular built up wing
A regular built up wing is called a d-tube wing rite?

Sometimes, it could be a C tube or Lincoln log or some other form of construction. Just because it has LE planking you can not tell till you look inside.

I was just looking at pictures the other day of Joes 2007 Seafire in bare wood. His new Seafire will have a .90 up front (as will Windys new ship).
Dan Banjock flew Joes Seafire at Brodaks last year and said it was honestly one of if not the best flying airplanes he has ever flown. If you have seen it in person it is also one of the most beautiful......

Hey!
Joe is one of the best builders and finishers in the hobby, bar none. In fact, he's a great guy as well! You just gotta see his work to appreciate how flawless his planes really are. The Spit was his design from the beginning and is a great flying plane, as Windy proved beyond a shadow of doubt.
I'm absolutely sure, (From several thousand miles away these days!) that his Seafire will be an absolute killer and if he had the time and desire, he could easily finish in the top-5.
I'm glad to see that hes still cranking em out, if slowly.
Hi Joe!

You should have seen Frank Williams' Aurora last year. ST G.90 and two (2!) 3-blade CF props bolted to the front to try to tame that monster. Frank had tried numerous other props, but there was just too much HP. The locals referred to this arrangement as the "Cuisinart", as Frank, naturally, hand-started this thing!

Here is another couple of 4 BLADED FINGER-BUSTIN' FRONT ENDS!
Nice looking models where power rules?

Don, I had the pleasure and honor to fly Joe's Seafire plane last November on a trip to Windy's for the 'build-a-thon' at Dave Midgley's. It was 35° and I was nervous. This plane is one of the finest displays of craftsmanship you will ever see.
I have another one for you. Frank Williams testing a ST 90 and with no prop in is inventory to load up the motor he tried stacking.
