Jim Lynch's Bear Cat - MIA?
« on: October 15, 2011, 05:03:35 PM »
I have been spending a lot of time with Jim Lynch as he is helping me with the finish on my Vector. As I am learning the finishing process I get to hear some great stories. One day I was talking with Jim and told him how I saw a picture of his Bear Cat in one of Windy's old videos. He said he wishes he had that plane back. As we talked he told me the history of the plane and he thinks that Billy Werwage has the plane.  I understand Billy lives in the north east. Can someone maybe that knows Billy ask to see if he still has the plane and if maybe we can some how thru the Internet get the plane back to Jim?

I was thinking if we could maybe get the plane to Brodaks next year I could bring it back.

Thoughts?

I thought Gary Hajek of St. Louis had it. He did for a lot of years, I saw it every time I was over at his house.

Living near Bill W. has allowed me to talk to him about one airplane or another over the years and he has never mentioned a Bearcat. I am sure Bob McDonald would also be privy to knowing about it and he has never mentioned it either.

Chris and Wayne
Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like we got some miss communication.

Chris I sent you a PM. Can you confirm your information and see if Gary will part with it?

Thanks
Paul
