Anyone know the DESIGN date on this one?  Memory indicates the kit wasn't intro'd 'til sometime in the mid-'50s, but it may have been designed much earlier.  Anyone know?  Designer's NAME would be nice to know, too.

Uncle Mikey,  just for you I pulled the kit off the shelf.  There is no dates on the plans other than little note about Jose Sadurni being the 2nd place in Open at the 55 American Nationals.  He was also winner in 52, 53 and 54 at the Mexican Nationals.  Says it is one of his most succesful designs.   Plans for the kit were done by Bill Dean, Ron Bradley, John Silvester and Roberto Guzman.

Side note, the plans show the official maneuvers for AMA Aerobatics.  It shows Level laps(2) after take-off, Climb, Dive, Wing Over, Reverse Wingover, 3 inside loops coming out inverted with 3 laps at shoulder height inverted before doing 3 outside loops(loops are round, 1 inside sqaure cornered loop, 1 triangle loop, 2 round figure 8's with inside loop first, 2 verticle 8's, 2 overhead 8's like current pattern, 1 sqaure cornered 8 finish with landing.  Of course the plans also state to check AMA rule book.  Not too many points given for first 10 maneuvers.

Looks like a very complicated plane to build.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday
