Your work is impressive-hopefully I can scratch the surface of that kind of quality one day.

Thank you! I do have over half a century of experince and that helps a lot. Keep building and try to make each one better. That's how you progress.

But I've been building and flying for 73 years.  Why don't my planes come out that well?

Robert   I saw your same hinges on your new Junar at Huntersville. I was wondering how you did it. Know I know. Very neat. I will use that method on my USA/1 that I am building this winter.

Robert,

Great job! Nice looking model.

Goes to show you a model doesn't have to be loaded up with graphics and over colored to be great looking.

Wonderful job!  H^^

Robert,
Is this the same design and size of the Continental that you built several years ago?

Thanks,
Jim

Jim
This is the Classic (smaller) Continental.
Robert has built a couple Continentals, the Classic that he still has and an XL (larger)
that he sold this year. The XL he sold was a 19 pointer at the Nats a couple years ago.

I think the one I asked about is/was the XL.  I saw him fly it several years ago when it was new.  Really liked it and wondered if he had ever drawn plans for it......

Jerry,
After watching Sparky's hinge vid, I would like to ask "What material is used for the hinge point bearing surfaces?"

Thanks,
Jim
