Janury 2019 M>A> Now available

Got my latest MA Friday.  A whole new layout is a bit disturbing as the pictures seem to be too small in many cases.  I flipped through the magazine and was a bit surprised when there was apparently no ads for Drones! There was one Drone event covered with large pictures. Then, on pages 07, 33, and 66 I discovered the reason.  Model Aviation is now going to provide a magazine in two forms devoted to DRONES! I will be called "DRONE PILOT".
In other pages the report is that the AMA is suffering a decline in advertising income and declining membership.  My guess is that beginning fairly soon, the old MA will either shrink in size or it will cover all phases of R/C (other than Drones) and a further reduction of CL and FF material.
Perhaps it is time to negotiate with John Brodak and resurrect the "Control Line World" magazine.
Just(no pun intended) my perspective.

The graphic layout style looks like a waste of paper to me. Maybe they had space to waste just because of the reduced drone ads and coverage? Good to hear that Joe didn't like it, because I agree entirely. Maybe we should send emails to AMA about that ALSO!  mw~ Steve
