Interesting Twins

This really should go in the OTS section but I figured it'd get more exposure here.

A fellow gave me these two engines - both spark ignition.

Anyone familiar with them?
The black one appears new.

There aren't many twins, so this narrows the choices.  Definitely not a Herkimer "OK".  There was another twin called "Wasp'.  The "Ross" twin was glo only.  This needs more rresearch

I believe these are both Wasp .60s.  The black was more common but the other obviously the same design without the enamel.

Yes, they are Wasps, the unpainted one is the original, the black the second.  Both were made in 1946 by the Micro Model Co in Pasedena, CA

Robert,

According to my engine "Bible" (Anderson's) they are indeed Wasp 60's. They'er listed between $200-400 apiece. You can most likely get more than that, I'm guessing. (Haven't researched it in the completed auction site)

There are a multitude of twins. This was a small fraction of them.
