Elevators springing to neutral on loss of tension would have been fine; problem was they sprung to full DOWN with loss of tension, like during the glide at the end of every flight. I ended up opening the fuselage (hey, no appearance points in OTS) and re-doing with two pushrods, one to each elevator half. This mostly cured the problem, caused by the need for the solid Y-shaped original pushrod to spring back to original shape after being pushed either direction (which is sort of the job of a pushrod, no?)
My Stinger flew well but quite fast and I sent it to a new home.
Kimster, can you post pictures for comparison?
