Jack Sheeks heart attack

  D>K  I talked with Jack today (Tues.) and he is doing fine, tired and out of breath at times but ok. Al tho having bypass surgery some time ago, they put a stint in this time. He will start therapy after Christmas. Our prayers go out to him and Shirley.

I talked to Jack a couple days ago - sounds like he is recovering.  He said they are planning on going to VSC in March.  As Jack put it, "I'd rather be seen than viewed."  LL~   LL~   LL~   8)

I talked to Shirley and he handed the phone to Jack. I talked to Jack briefly a few minutes ago. As stated above he is feeling weak and will have some rehab ahead of him. He is home and he is still  intending to get to VSC in March.

I met Jack a few years ago and he was part of our JunkYard wars team at Brodaks.  What a nice guy.

Glad to hear Jack is doing well.  Will never forget the first time I met him, courtesy of Big Art.   What a pair.  Have the Sheeks High Point VWC Award in a very prominent place in the shop.   Get well Jack and hope to see you and the misses at VSC. H^^

    I got to meet Jack at the SIG contest many years ago when I first started flying contests, and at subsequent NATS and VSC contests. I had the good fortune of sharing a table with Jack, Wild Bill Netziband, Alan Brickhaus, Charlie Reeves, Gary Hajek and my son Sean at the 1997 VSC Banquet and Jack had us all rolling for most of the night. One of my best memories in stunt.
    Get well soon Jack! I hope to repeat that memory in some small way one of these days!
