Jack's new Stuka
« on: September 19, 2014, 04:36:05 PM »
Jack Jackson brought his new Stuka to the NVCL club meeting last night.  37 ounces with LA-25 power.

Check out the pilot and rear gunner!

Really beautiful!

As a long time builder and admirer of the Still Stuka and friend/customer of Don Still, l would like to congratulate you on a fine looking aircraft. I am always amazed at it's flying qualities.  It flies much better than I do.  I have thru the years built 5 of them.  Each time it has gotten better and better as I learned new ways of building light.  Make sure we get flying reports from the front lines!!

Very nice! Should be a nice reliable flyer with the LA at that weight. y1

Ahhh... pleasant memories... I flew a Still Stuka  in all black back in "66 with a K&B .35 - was a little heavy but a good flier.... lost it in a square corner .
