Father's Day Gift

My oldest son told me he wanted to get me a Father's Day gift like none other I had ever received.  He told me I was hard to buy for so asked me for a list of modeling stuff that I needed or wanted.  I told him I had been buying stuff for almost 3 years and had quite a collection already.  Still, he pushed the issue, so I gave him a list, admitting it was pricey.  I didn't expect what was to come.

Yesterday, UPS dropped off a large box on my porch. I thought it was an ARF, but to my surprise, it was a Gieseke Nobler from UHP.  I was dumbfounded.  It was on my list, but I never thought he would choose that.  There were other items I wanted that were cheaper, but I got the pick of the litter.  I'm a happy guy!

You say it was a large box.  Was it the ARF/ARC or the kit?  I have the ARF/ARC as the SLC is already on the plane and needs painting after assembling the components.

It was the component kit, ARF.  They don't offer the stick kit anymore.

Steve put together a nice package for this airplane.  I've had mine flying for a year now with a RO-Jett 40 BSRE.  Put it together and fly it.
