Title: It has to start someplace!
Post by: Avaiojet on November 24, 2012, 05:30:15 PM
I can remember back to the days when paper and drawing instruments were used for everything that involved the drawing of something.

Draftsman, Architects, decorators, graphic designers, and the list is endless.

I certainly, as have others, drawn my fair share of plans for model airplanes using a drawing pencil and paper.

Those were the days!

I'm thinking about this because my laser guy was off planet for a bit. He's back. So, I find myself fine tuning the CAD produced vector file I have of, soon to be cut, laser parts for The International.

As you can see from these photos, some "line" and some "fill," just to show the difference.

Funny though, in spite of the fact that these parts were created and drawn in cad, the original design of The International, was done with pencil and paper.

I guess some things never change.  ;D
