Title: It Flies!!!
Post by: john e. holliday on May 11, 2007, 09:08:09 PM
Second glorious night of flying.  Met John Bender at the circle and had the "Sweet Sweep" with me this time.  After a thorough going over by John, lines were hooked up and checked.  The little FP 25 fired right off.  It leaned out a bit in the air and was sagging in the insides.  Last flight was with needle opened up quite a bit and a 10-4 power point instead of the 9-6 it started with.  Last flight did full pattern with only one lap between maneuvers.  Using Sig 10% fuel.  Then it was Bi-Slob time again.  It is something to watch that thing hanging in the air.  Anyway the "Sweet Sweet" was fun to build following Walter's very fine instructions.  Now I am glad I bought the second one.  DOC Holliday

Hi Doc!  It ought to be illegal that you are having so much fun!  **) **)

Ain't it great??!!

Going flying today, myself.  Howard Shenton is hosting a C/L fly-in up at Hobby Park in Winston Salem.  It's about a 2 hours drive and I'm waiting on my flying buddy to get here so we can leave!  Gonna get there around 10:00 and stay until we can't stand it no more, or it gets too dark to fly.  Which ever comes first! LOL!!

If I can talk the girls into it, I will make it three days in a row for flying.  Almost like being at the NATS, VSC, or Brodaks.  DOC Holliday

Well Doc, I got to fly.  Turned out really hot!  But at least it was a day at the flying field with some other guys!
