Les started a topic with a simple question: "Bob Shaw Contest at Tripletree---Who's Coming?"
The topic asks a question that bears a simple query about who plans to attend - NOTHING MORE.
So, a bunch of people decide to turn it into a major pissing contest, criticizing the date, the rules, east cost policies, whatever.

Stick with the original context. If you want to bitch about something or go off on some absurd tangent, START A NEW TOPIC.

Many people have worked very hard to make the Tripletree event a reality. I commend them for that. If you wish to cause trouble and criticize them for their hard work and dedication, DON'T COME - they don't need self appointed critics.

The Brodak event, the biggest and in my opinion, the best CL event in the USA, will be history after June, 2016. Tripletree might just take its place. We need as much help and participation as possible to keep CL model aviation alive and well. Mark, Bob, Pat and many others are putting out maximum effort. Let them do what they can do well. Leave the politics and chicken sh** comments out.
Just my thoughts,
Bob Z.
