Title: It's my wife's fault
Post by: Tim Wescott on July 21, 2018, 07:22:46 PM
Because she didn't crash, so somebody had to.  I knew the thing was being a pig on the outside corners, and I tried anyway.  Wait -- maybe it's Paul Walker's fault, for giving me one of his planes so that my reflexes would be all wacked out -- yup, that's it.  It couldn't possibly just be me doing an inverted pancake on the bottom of a square loop -- oh no.

At least the broken-off prop blade is easy to find.

I guess!  I've done the whole pattern with that plane, but you have to be gentle in the corners (no FAI-quality stuff).  Fortunately it's very repairable -- I designed it to be a trainer, and it does that well.
