Anybody know if Bill Little, Aaron and the rest of the Carolina guys are ok? Heard there was considerable tornado damage in the Sandford and Raleigh areas....

No damage near the Huntersville area, we were at the Flying field today around 12:30 when the storms came thru. All of us from this side of NC are OK . How is Virginia Beach Area guys

Here east of Charlotte lots of wind but not like upstate. Lots of trees down but no building damaged near my house. Baseball size hale ~^ a few days ago missed us by five miles. None at all here.

I hope he is all right. Bill lives off the western side of FT Bragg (I used to pass over his house when we were jumping on Holland Drop Zone). Bragg is right next to Fayetteville, and the Fayetteville area got clobbered.
Lets hope the silence is just due to getting power and internet hookup running again.

Yea, I sent a PM to Bill a couple of days ago and haven't had a response. I'm getting a bit worried. Hope everyone there is OK. Glad to hear Ed and William are good.

Everyone,
Aaron reports that everything is fine in their area. The tornado passed about 6 miles away.

God Bless.
When I got home here in Alabama on Friday night, the tornado sirens were going off, and my daughter was rightfully frightened. Tornado passed 3.5 miles from here. Tore it up there, almost nothing here. Barely any rain. 1/2 mile from here was both hail and rain. Dodged the bullet this time.
Again, that's why they call it the "Finger of God".
Glad to hear Bill and Aaron are all right.

Bob Kruger,
Glad to hear all is well with you.
Take care.
We do have hurricanes, BUT, we get warnings days, not hours/minutes, before they hit.

Hi All,
Sorry I missed this, Steve. Just didn't see it since I usually only hit the button for "replies to your posts" unless I have a lot of time. Aaron called and told me of the post. I have been posting since last Friday but we were in Creedmore (Friday, Sat., Sunday) at my youngest son's home when all the bad weather hit. Actually we were in Henderson at my Uncle's home which was in the path during the actual storms. It missed both places by just a little bit but we saw the remains. Fortunately neither my son nor his wife were called into work, they are both Raleigh Police.
Nothing of record right here at our house, just the usual bad T-Storms and wind.
Aaron was missed by a couple miles, but his Mother in Law was right in the path where the tornado hit. Nothing done to her home, though.
Strange storm, most tornado strikes from one "storm" in NC history. Our prayers are out for those who lost their homes and members of their families. Fortunately, we were spared this time.

That was a bad one, started here in Oklahoma and went all the way to the east coast dropping twisters at random. Glad to hear everyone made it through OK..
