I talked to Russell yesterday, he called me on my order, his shop has been without air conditioning for two weeks in the 100 degree heat. he should be back up and running in a day or so he said. Just a reminder guys, this is not his day job so we need to be a little patient. Not always easy I know but I for one am glad that he is willing to keep this business going.

I talked to him on Tuesday. He is in the process of moving into a new shop. It took awhile to get the cooling installed but he's now working to catch up on orders.

I haven't had any problems with Russ. It might take a bit longer but has been worth the wait.

People keep forgetting that the ones that do this usually has a primary job to take care of. They have family and problems of their own too. Maybe you guys taht are in such a hurry need to think a little more. S?P

A week or so ago he and I were out flying and he flew one of the BJ airplanes.
Pretty impressive model.

I purchased two sets of 63" lines from him back in early summer. It took about two months to get them. I know he had a problem with his air conditioner but two months? Anyway, now I have been trying to pay him a $69.00 check for these lines which has been returned twice so far by the post office. I used two different addresses that I have found on his website and the internet and both are no good it seems. I have tried to leave phone messages to ask him about his address, no return calls. He seems like a nice guy when I did get to talk to him but now I don't know whats going on. Here is a picture of my envelope that was returned twice. After the first one was returned, I crossed out that address and wrote a different one. Same results. I hope he is OK and stays in business but something will have to change a little.

My experience with the USPS is that once the stamp has been postmarked, and have returned it to sender, they are done with it. New envelope and stamp may work. Don't count on the USPS for a lot of concern. :'( Steve

I talked to him at the TGD contest in Tulsa in September. He had just gotten moved from the Wagoner address to either Jenks or Glenpool OK. Russ seldom posts here but maybe Dave can hook you up with his new address.

I ORDERED STUFF FROM ON JUNE 13TH...AND STILL HAVNT RECIEVED ANYTHING...I EMAILED HIM 3 TIMES AND HE SAID HE WOULD GET MY STUFF OUT...I EMAILED HIM AGAIN AND TOLD HIM TO SEND ME 3 OF THE ITEMS AND REFUND MY MONEY ON THE REST...

So what’s the latest? I’d like to place an order for a control system but am hesitant to do that based on all the negative experiences.

I placed a order with Russ about a month ago and have received my order. At the time he said that he had 15 orders ahead of me. So, was I lucky?

I have never had to pay Russ in advance for anything. He ships it to me with the invoice and then I pay.

i bought from him before and he always charges me when i place the order........the other orders took a while for me to recieve but nothing like this...i am going to call again and ask for my money back.i feel like i have been plenty patient and he always tells me im sorry and will get it right out to you... a month ago he told me he would put my order at the front of the line...still no parts...i guess i ordered too many parts at one time for him to handle and doesnt want my business anymore

An update on MY Okie Air order placed on February 11th 2023. Shipped on February 13th 2023 with a live tracking number.

HE CALLED ME YESTERDAY ON MY ORDER..HE SAID HE WAS OUT OF THE 1/8" BELLCRANKS AND HAD THE NEWER 1/4" ONES TO FILL MY ORDER...HE SAID HE HAS A PROBLEM GETTING SOME OF THE STUFF TO SELL AND ALSO A BIG PRICE INCREASE FROM HIS SUPPLIERS, HE SAID BALSA HAS GONE UP 175% FROM HIS SUPPLIER..HE SEEMS TO BE GETTING ORDERS OUT A LOT QUICKER NOW
