Just got a message that all events are cancelled because of rain comming is this true or false

I just heard the same thing.  Due to leave tomorrow morning, I'd like to verify this before I leave.

Would a little rain stop a contest/get together of this size?    I drove through a pouring rain on the way to a combat meet Saturday to spectate and what a great day it turned out to be.    D>K
