Does everyone agree with the ease of use of this forum? Is the pace OK? I know that no politics is OK by me!

Hi, Russell...since Marv is offline, and you's online...I'll answer.

Marv is SE of Salem, near Detroit Lake, as I recall. I don't know anybody else in K.Falls, at least since Todd Ryan finished school there. C'mon over to the NW CL Regionals in Eugene on Memorial Day weekend (actually, Friday>Sunday).  8) Steve

PS: Robert, I'm liking your new forum, tho I can't help but think it would be better to have more folks on one forum, than fragment our small society. Then again....

Hi Russ/ Steve

I live appx 10 miles east of Salem which makes it a short drive to a great flying site.
Steve, sure glad you are here. I need a judge to score the color of my stars  ;D
Say hi to Randy and the rest of the (Gang  :o for me)  Oooooops it slipped out again, ummmm errrrrr fellow club members perhaps?  BTW we took a vote here in Aumsville and after being exposed to three days of your Northern temperatures, decided we don't need em

I agree but I have no control over what other peoples ideas are on how things should be run. But here in the Hangar I have some input. If you don't like something change it,if you cant change it start something fresh. Set the ground rules and frame work first then run with it. Which is what I have done however I must give credit to the ones who have shown me how it should or should not be done. Also I must give credit to the ones who are helping in making this environment an enjoyable one. Like Bill Little ,Randy Smith, Ted Fancher and the rest of the charter members who have the power to delete move or change any post that may be found offensive.

I am still looking for a General Manager to over see day to day operations. This group is run by us for us. Not by me for me. That is what will make this new venue so great! I am hoping in the years to come to see this flourish into something off the spectrum of web site stats.

The more I use the forum, the more I like it, especially the people who are on it regularly.
No politics is great.
Good Zingers should be allowed in good taste, as long as they are announced as joking and accepted by the pun reciever in a favorable manor. A "Hay! I didn't care for that" should set the precedence and end there.

I don't even want to get that started here. If I were it would get out of hand just like the other boards. This board is different . Why you ask? Its ours to share. Some people would never speak up even if insulted. So I will not let it happen from the  get go.

This has become my favorite forum.  It is, at least so far, only about model airplanes.
Thanks.

I build some and look here same as I did on SSW but now I have some say in how it is run. But you do too! Everyone has input.

The nicest thing about this software is the 3 strikes rule. What that means is if someone is found to be offensive and is reported 3 times the are BANISHED INTO CY-BER SPACE

Yeah. Police the place. NO POLOTICS or other nasty stuff. I signed in blood, myself, splattered my computer screen. Took a minute to wash it off.

Best to all
