Title: Introducing a new flyer
Post by: Bill Johnson on July 10, 2018, 04:02:39 PM
My nephew, Caleb, after his first flight this morning at Milton Frank stadium. Caleb flew one of our club trainers for 16 laps, executing climbs, dives, and a good landing!

It doesn't get better than this; a young man smiling with a cross around his neck and a flown CL plane in his arms!

I pitted for Bill and Caleb.    It really was a great flight for the first time out.  Amazing!!!!

PS it was HOT and very little wind But we had a really good day.  Only one broken prop.  All the airplanes lived to fly another day.

I think he will, Gene. He talked about how fun it was, having the plane pulling on the lines and how different it was from any rc stuff he had done. He wasn't too thrilled with the fuel and castor oil but he also watched John fly his E-Cavalier and thinks thats the bees knee.
