Off Topic Photo Question
« on: May 08, 2017, 07:51:19 AM »
I have an iphone 4 and will not upgrade until it dies,

I have no trouble down loading phone pictures to my computer.

But since like to use my Nikon D7000 for taking quality photos, there is a problem.

I cannot transfer pictures from a flash drive or the computer or an memory card to the phone. I get a message saying the phone is not connected.

Is there any way to do this without paying Bill Gates more money?

Tom,

Putting all that aside. I see no reason why you cannot put a photo in an e-mail and send it. Open it at the other end.

Ahh the dreaded Iphone curse.  Thankyou steve Jobs..

Its not hard but its not easy.
You need to use Apple's camera connection kit. This enables you to connect the camera to the iPad or use the camera's SD card. Then you use the Photos app to import.

It's actually very easy.  Sync your iPhone with your computer via iTunes.  If you do not have an Apple computer you can still download iTunes for a Windows machine.  Once you are synced, you can move files from one device to the other.
