The blat/burp during outside maneuvers makes for smiles all around.

Hi Dennis, you mean to tell me that The fox .35 will burp/stutter during outside maneuvers? according to everyone on this forum, the Fox doesn't do this.
I met an older gentleman while flying in Alameda, who claimed he had a Fox .35 that never burped while performing outside maneuvers. I watch his next flight and as expected the motor stumbled and burped on EVERY outside maneuver. After the flight he comes over to me, grinning ear to ear and says "What do you think, pretty smooth run wouldn't you say?" When I told him that that the damn motor almost quit during half of the maneuvers, he says "I never saw that"
All I could do was walk away shaking my head.
And to those who will say " Fox .35's are the greatest stunt motor ever, just look at their winning record" , I say, look at the flat head Ford motor.
There were thousands of races won with that motor. But would you run it against any modern powerplant? I think not.
