Yeah Saturday is not looking to good but I'm bringing a fun fly plane that might handle the winds, if I'm paying for a hotel I'm going to fly something...lol Hope to see you there.

I wish you guys had posted this event in the Events section here, or at least on the Balsa Beavers calendar ahead of time...  You  could've had even more attendees...

Friday at field, crazy windy but nothing the old Spider can't handle, and to let you know how close we are to Pearson International airport, remember Wayne's world...lol

Putting the Genesis through it's paces, great flying plane, it got super windy and I almost lost it in the OH 8's  so we will be holding the stunt contest on Sunday.

Hope you guys got it in.  The video reminds me of when I used to fly at the Knorthern Knight Field in Missouri. Would often see the big Jets coming and going from KCI Airport. D>K

Yes we got it done. A day later than originally planned but everything turned out for the best. The wind was much more manageable on Sunday.

A special shout out to Naomi and Len for doing the judging. Thank you for stepping up!

Thanks John, it was so good after 3 years to get out and see everyone again and I learned the Len method of tying Spectra lines, I'm now in the process of making my first set. Thanks again Len. It was a great weekend all around.   y1
