We had our swap meet on Saturday, April 2. It was a bit of a disappointment since very few people came to buy or sell.  Two walked in and wanted to know if we took plastic. We said no, so they walked around, looked  and left. We will cure that next year. We'll send them to the closest ATM machine. We got a few from out of state.

I was a little discouraged, but Jim Lee told me that the Gluedobbers need to keep having swap meets and that the buyers and sellers will eventually come.

We did sell a lot of Bob Reeves stuff, but we have a lot left.

It's hard to start something new now. A lot of the guys got a lot older and don't travel as much.

I was interested in coming to the swap as I am traveling for work and found myself in Bossier, LA and possibly having a free weekend which I was oing to use to visit some realatives in Eufala and Wagner. Unfortunately, around 6:30 Friday night we got the call that we would need to come back to the site SAT morning so that pretty much sealed my fate as far as attending the swap meet.
