Indoor electric
« on: December 13, 2015, 03:05:02 PM »
Just spent few hours at Schenectady Armory, now configured for indoor soccer and is used for electric RC and rubber FF.  Ceiling approx 50 ft. Club says I'm welcome to fly electric CL. Any suggestions for suitable airplane and power package? I'm aware of the "Ringrat" by StevensAero, and have seen posts by Igor Burger describing his GeeBee. I think line length limit is 40 -42 ft to allow wing over in 50 ft ceiling.

I think Steve Yampolsky flys c/l indoor.
I may be wrong but I doubt it.
I wouldn't take her to a dog fight even if she had a chance to win.

I am going to try an electrified 1/2A Pathfinder on 35' - 40' lines. I also have access to a field house to try but have to finnish my big Pathfinder first.
