are the t nuts on the wrong side of the motor mount?

LA .46 for power. The engine is inverted so the blind nuts are on the top. The span is around 54".
The original 57 Arrow had an upright engine. I believe all of the later Arrow designs had inverted engines.

Since the weather outside ain't fit for a brass monkey I've been smoking right along with my arrow project. The cap strips & wing tips are done, the L.E. shaped as well as fitting some of the center section sheeting. It's starting to look like a Fierce Arrow.

That is very impressive work! I love the way you handled the tip weight problem. ;D
Always wanted to build a similar looking Half Fast, after an AF friend brought one to the field on base in the mid 1950's. He had a brand new OS 35? on that silk covered airplane, and it was the first OS engine I'd ever seen. Put my Fox 35 powered Veco Tom Tom to shame, and so did his flying of the Half Fast. ;D

I've always threatened to build the FA, never got around to it, so maybe this will spur me on. Trouble is, I lost a bunch of plans when I moved two years ago and the FA was in that group!
Did I read where there is a kit available? I looked on the RSM site but didn't find anything. I had the great privilege of watching Steve Wooley fly his and thought I was seeing miracles! That is when I knew I should build one.
Any advice, guys?

Got a little more done over the past few days. ZPOXY'd the inside of the nose area, added some nose blocks and the flaperons are ready to install (fabric hinges). Need to make a 2 1/4" nose ring and find some aluminum for the L.G. Bellcrank installation will be next followed by the center section bottom sheeting.

I'm not very creative when it comes to paint schemes. I leave that problem till the end or whenever the lightning bolt strikes.

Ok, here's a lightning bolt, maybe adapt the Northrop N9M Flying Wing scheme? Randolph #M-9501 "AN Orange Yellow" and #W-9506 "AN True Blue" would work well. You can go to the Aircraft Spruce site and search "color chart" for a look. Yellow on top, blue on the bottom, boom, DONE. Insignia decals are available from Major Decal, carried in various sizes at a lot of LHS's. Real easy to do and super cool... S?P ;D

Got the flaperon hinges done today along with the controls. Heavy duty ball link at the crank and UHP clevis on the flap horn. One more building day and it should be ready for covering. I still lave to locate or make the L.G blank. The outboard aileron will be made adjustable (just in case).

This thing just looks like a lot of fun.
I had a "WOW" flying wing with an LA.25 for quite a while. It was built from a laser cut repro kit, from Tom Niebuhr if I recall correctly. It was a great combo and blast to fly but you had to be paying attention every second. I got lazy and fell behind it one day, smoking it right into the ground. Totally my fault, exploded it into bits.
It'll be fun to see this one done, neat project!

IIRC, you had a flying wing done up in a German paint scheme at SIG one year. I have a picture of it somewhere. It was really cool looking.

Finished the basic construction today. It's ready for some Blue Fil & covering. Other than putting my finer through some sheeting (patched it) construction was easy.
