So, thinking back over the last 5 years what would you say are the most iconic stuntship designs? Let's consider new designs and enduring designs. This should be easy since the last 5 years were center-punched by Covid.
Since this is basically a visual thing, please post a picture of your candidate. Preferrably you'll be nominating someone else's plane, not your own.

Scott I am not sure if I understand your question. Are you limiting this to ONLY designs that have been introduced since 2017? I don't know what qualifiers you have in mind but one of the most "enduring" designs in my mind was Ted Fancher's IMITATION which I kitted a few years ago.

Mike - however people want to interpret it is fine. Your pick of the Imitation is a good one, since my club is encouraging a club build of just that airplane!

That Bob - he's got a pretty good designer's eye, doesn't he? His last Genesis is spectacular! But, shhh!, don't tell him that - we want him to think they're not quite good enough so he'll keep designing and building. ;D

And, speaking of iconic designs, your Silver Lancer is still one of the most character-filled models of the modern era. As I've been chiding you for many years, it needs to be published! Please tell the story here of that design; it's an interesting tale...

Ummm - short version:
I got a kit (some guys were knocking out kits for a while, but I don't recall the company name) of the Genesis And not having the restraint to leave better than good enough alone, I got out the "white out" (if you had an inept office secretary, you became very familiar with this stuff) and proceeded to modify the plans based on a Frank Tinsley drawing from a 1936 (or there-abouts) Bill Barnes Flying Aces story. Cut, cut,cut, glue, glue, glue, sand, sand, sand (if you're not good at this, watch any Windy video... ;D) and paint, paint, paint. Taa-daa!
Flown at the Nebraska Nats in high winds. Now, if I could just find a picture of it....

I am certainly no expert on design but I would think the Nobler, especially the wing, set a precedent for future models that came afterward.

For the last 5 years....for me, it would be TDMs Revolutions, his all-composite electric stunter that he has documented the build of on here. Helping to pave the way (at least in my view) for all-composite stunt ship design and construction.

I can see that being true anywhere but in the USA. The average builder does not have the resources to build this way and with the BOM, for which I feel strongly both ways, it pretty much eliminates this type of plane from ever being mainstay. It still is a step forward, a big one.

Over the last five years? I gotta go with Chris Cox’s Hellcat and composite MiG 3 series of airplanes. They look like they fly pretty good and look great!

Addressing the "last five years." (Bob contributions to C/L Stunt are enormous) IMHO...I consider "my" ship iconic. ;) Completed in 2017, intended to be flown at the NATs, but circumstances said otherwise. My design, built from scratch; Thai Angel II. Besides this thread needed some pictures. H^^

hard to beat Bob Hunt designs, either one here would be my choice
adn he´s one of a few that keeps designin and always improving along the last 50 decades, even more, he´s never afraid to look forward and try new type ofengines, finishing methods and construction technics

I think the Impact, Thundergazer, SV-11 and it’s derivatives best fit the definition over the past 5 years.

Paul says his Impact design is real close to being N-30 legal...if it isn't already. The SV-11 is certainly not within the 5 year limit stated in the OP's question. The Thundergazer is the newest of those three, and is likely closer to 10 year mark.
Paul's "Anteater" design begat the Hellcox (sic) and Mig-3, so I'd have to say it was a pretty significant design. I'm just not sure what Paul calls it. Locally, if you say "Anteater", everybody knows which PW design you're refering to. y1 Steve
