Some of you have met my oldest daughter, Sunny. She, along with my grand-daughter, Maggie, handled the registration/tabulation for the KOI for several years prior to this year.

Sunny has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing surgery this Wednesday to remove the cancer and also do reconstruction. If there is any good news in this, I guess it's the fact that the doc says the cancer was caught early, has not spread and he feels sure it can be totally removed with no radiation necessary.

I will appreciate it if you will remember Sunny in your prayers tonight.

I have 2 sweet daughters myself, Bill.....this breaks my heart! Consider it done, and I will be holding, and believing God for the surgery and her recovery to go well! And will be until she's well! Hi Bill,

Our prayers go out for Sunny and the entire family. I am almost done with my chemo therapy so tell her it's nothing to be scared of. She just has to go through the procedures.

The old DOC will add her and the family to the list. Can't thank GOD enough for watching over us in times of trouble. Also we forget to thank GOD for the doctors he has given us to take care of us. I know she will get well as my neighbor lady I used to refer to as the pest is coming up on a dozen years of being clean of cancer. Take care.

My wife is a 6 year cancer survivor....if the Doc said it was caught early enough and she will be okay...go with that and that all of us are praying for her...there is "so much" power in prayer that He will hear all of us and heal her.

This is Sunny. Dad showed me all of your posts for prayers. On behalf of myself and my family... thank you so much. Your prayers mean so much to me. I truly believe in God's faithfulness when we trust Him with our heart's requests. I am thankful that my prognosis is good, and I know that God placed this on my plate so that He will be glorified through it all. Thank you so much.

Hi Sunny,

Myself as well as many others here are now involved, or have gotten through, the Cancer treatment regimen. Just keep a great attitude and keep looking UP. I have two treatments left and God has seen me through it so far, and I completely trust Him to continue.

Folks, Sunny had her surgery this morning and I am very happy to report that the outcome could not be better. The doctors told us that they are sure they got all the cancer and no radiation or chemo will be needed. I am one relieved old man.

I want to thank all of you for your prayers, well wishes and support over the past few days. I know the good Lord was listening to each and every one of you.

The CL family is a remarkable group of people. I am proud to count myself as one of the family. Thanks again.

WONDERFUL NEWS. Yes, I too believe in HIM. I pray and pray. It seems that some are not heard yet in the long run those were all by far the better when not heard. HE knows.

I have a 9 year old grandson that is 100% diabetic and it creates a problem. A couple months ago his liver started not functioning. I pray every day. Now it seems that all functions are returning. The doctors have no clue.

HE KNOWS AND LISTENS! Very proud for you, Mr. Hodges and daughter, and THANKS to HIM!

Never underestimate the power of prayer it has pulled a lot of us through some dark days, and I give thanks that you have Sunny and that you will for a long time as a reminder of Gods grace.
