Impact ARC prototype

It appears the thread with the pics of the new Impact ARC
prototype was one of those that was lost, so I'll repost the
pics here for anybody who hasn't seen them.

As I said before, this is the first prototype, it will be several months
at best before we are ready to offer these for sale. Please don't
call and berate me or John wanting to get one next week. Yes,
believe it or not this has happened.

Also, the prototype is covered in SLC film to speed along my
building process. The production kits will NOT have any covering,
thus it is an ARC and BOM legal. Once again, NO covering on
the produiction models.

The prototype is quite light, 34 oz. out of the box, and comes with
hard maple motor mounts from National Balsa, Morris style control
system, and can be set up to fly with or with out a pipe.

I expect these to sell in the neighborhood of $250.00. If you'd

Hi Steve.  Last time we conversed was before "the crash" re the take-a-part posibility for the Impact.  I did post my old mate Pete Tindal's model with a foam wing on SSW recently to show how he attacked the problem.   From that post, it showed that many who fly bigger models and have, due to the crashing economy, gone to smaller European and "rice burner" size cars which doesn't allow easy transport of more than one model or even one model if there are more than two passengers.   Whatever "design" of the take a part system, it just makes it that much easier.

The pic below is the ones for Wynn Robins of NZ for Legacy and Vector projects he has on.   The complete unit weighs in at about 2oz.  I haven't completed the T.E joiner as yet due to "IT'S TOO BL--DY HOT!

I am hoping to have the Impact ARCs in country in
the Spring of 2010. I'll keep y'all posted on the progress.
