After a season of zero C/L flying due to CV19
, with Brad's blessing my brother Ivan and I headed down to the Bean Field in Dresden for some camping and flying.
Turned into a sort of unofficial fun fly with some of the local regulars (socially distanced of course).
Weather on Wed was excellent all day. Thursday started off nice, I had three F2B flights before breakfast, but then the wind came up and by lunch it was getting too windy to fly.
I have attached a few pictures. It was great to get a handle in my hand again,do some patterns and fly some F2D matches with my brother (same "bubble" since March).
Not used to using the stooge for F2D launching, but it worked out fine.
I think Brad took some F2D video, hopefully we can post it later.
Huge thanks again to Brad and Nancy for hosting.

P.S. If anyone knows how to deter bald eagles from snatching small pets, Brad and Nancy would be extremely grateful
I found a few ideas online. I think (hope!) they might be migrating south soon, but could return next year.
