Title: Identify this Fuselage
Post by: Pete Bauer on December 10, 2024, 02:56:07 PM
I have no idea where Dad originally got this, but it is cast magnesium and marked "Consolidated Model Eng Co".  Any ideas what plane this was for?

Yes, he was my Dad.  Fuselage weighs 7 oz.

I met your dad at Brodak’s and got my picture with him. He was a such a nice guy.

Did you design the Tutor II?

My older brother Mark designed the Tutor.

It’s a good flyer. My son still flys his.

Looks like magnesium alloy which is slightly heavier but stronger than pure magnesium.
