Robert STorik, or anyone whom can answer for me. Having watched your last attempt I think I got confused a little by you design on ibeam building.
Looking at the link about the cobra shows a leading edge that is about 1/4 by 1/8.. I am going by the way the size looks in the photo.... I was thinking the leading edge met the ribs vertically?
do they sit flat on the leading edge or are there variations ?

You are correct. Both the Argus and the Cobra had the ribs meet on the top of the leading edge. Most I-Beamers have the ribs meet the back of the leading edge. Both ways work just fine though.

Steve Wooley laid his LE down horizontal while Billy Werwage, and most others, put their LE vertical. I have built both styles, and they both work well.

You can also do a square leading edge set at a 45 degree angle. Of course you have to cut the front of the ribs to fit.
