I thought some might find this funny, I sure didnt!

It appears to be a
massive conspiracy against my airplane,
the Furias. The first Furias was felled by a wayward
dove. Both the dove and the Furias were killed
in the incident. The NTSB determined that the
dove was totally at fault. Jake Moon found the
dove head for us, thank goodness for that. 

That happened several years ago.
 
Furias #2, still in producstion, has already taken a
hit from the birds before ever even getting into the air.
I came in from mowing the lawn the other day only to
discover a bird flew into my garage a placed nice big
white bird turd on the top of the outboard wing of the Furias.
 Mind you, the plane is only in primer. Ouch!!!!

 Obviously you know nothing about birds.
 The bird came into the garage, saw the plane and liked it.
 the bird wanting very much to purchase the plane and not having the total amount,left a deposit on it.

Here is a fun quote from the pilot of the Reno Racer you named/modeled your plane after:

"Flying Furias is kind of like doing your girlfriend on the hood of your wife's car at the drive-in while your wife honks the horn. Very exciting, but not too fun..," he says.

The above may give you another clue as to why you should change the name!

When I first heard the name Furias, I felt it would be better to wait until the aforementioned happened, as opposed to trying to convince you to change that name. I must say, the birds in question, expressed my sentiment in a somewhat more graphic manner.

Jerry Holcome of the Firn Prairie Modelers once was given a Berkely Buccaneer float plane. When he finished it he explained that it had been sittin in the guy's garage for abou y20 years. The wing took about a week to clean up before he could finish building it. It seems the wings had a large no of Mud Dobbers nest attached to the wing and frame.
