Veco/Palmer Hurricane question...
« on: April 02, 2013, 09:14:15 PM »

Is this Hurricane kit from before or after the Veco red/white checker box period? Also, during what time period was this labeling used?

Narrowly averting disaster since 1964!

Some Veco C/L kits were reissued during the early 90's. Supposedly they were either old stock or cut, I mean crushed, from the original dies. They were crudely packaged. I almost bought a T-bird kit  but passed as it was a little rough, (heavy wood, rusty LG, warped plywood etc). It would have made a good template kit though. Someone may have more info on that brief resurgence. I suspect your kit may be one of those. 8)
