I-pad help needed
« on: January 26, 2013, 11:59:57 AM »
I can't get my iPad to stay connected to Stunt Hangar. Where do I go to ease up the security or whatever it takes?

Larry, am using the first gen iPad.  I am not sure what you mean by staying connected.  Pm me and maybe I can help if I know more of what your issues are.

I have the same problem on my Ipad, so a solution on the forum would be nice.

What Larry is saying is he needs to connect to the SH forum with a username and password every time he uses his ipad. This is not happening on the windows OS. The windows OS keeps the info somewhere so you don't need to connect each time you go on the forum.

Thanks,

-d

The mechanism by which a browser (not the OS) keeps the info someplace is called a "cookie".  Because the use of cookies can cause security or usability problems with badly written or malicious web sites, some browsers don't allow their use, or let you set up when and where they can be used.

I know nothing about how the browser in the iPad is set up -- but if it's not allowing cookies for stunthanger.com, then you would have a problem.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

If it is a cookie issue, on your iPad go to Settings, click on Safari.  Make sure the "accept cookie" is turned on.  That should correct the issue.

I have had no issues staying "logged" onto stunt hanger with my IPAD 2.
What I did was to save the page as a book mark, AFTER I had first logged in, and it has continued to work ever since, good luck.
