Dear fellow flyer's;
For the past few months the Riese household has been some sort of a daytime soap opera. It’s amazing that when it rains it pours, and boy I’m wet.
July 20th I had a slight heart attack
July 23rd my granddaughter fell down a flight of stairs and sustained near fatal injuries.
September 7th Mother feel again a hurt her elbow again. No stitches but a huge hunk of skin were removed from the forearm. Again I must stay close by. We don’t need infections.
September 8th my son was booked for child neglect because of the injuries his daughter received in her fall. Oregon Laws are almost cut and dried on this issue. I’ve lost sleep over this. My family is just in shock.
September 8th My Niece was driving this morning to take her two kids to school. She had a fainting spell. All three where rushed to the hospital. My niece found out she my have MS. All three where released today. Good NEWS.
SO I must make a few decisions. Family comes first. Mother needs my time more then ever. I must stay close by. No more weekends flying dates or contests. I’m now doing everything possible to make her happy. SHE turns 96 in three weeks!
I must stand by my son NO mater how hard this is going to be. I must leave my calendar open to his needs and support. I’m on call.
My niece will get the attention she needs. My hopes and prayers are with her and the kids.
So with reluctance I must close my shop temporally. The orders that I have, and the orders that are in the mail I will get to them. NO one will be left out!
I’ve really slowed down (physically) these past few weeks. My energy level was very low and I’m still having problems from my episode back in July.
I hope that all of my customers have enjoyed my products as much as I’ve enjoyed making them. I’ll keep everyone posted on my return to making custom parts.
OH I’ve been plying with powder coating and chroming. Till next “TYME”

Oh my goodness, Scott! I can't believe the run of luck you and your family have had. All I can say is I hope things turn around for all of you. Hang in there. It's just a "rough patch" and you'll get through it. But, just to make sure, I've added your family to our family's prayer list. I don't really know you personally, but I don't think that matters in His eyes.
Keep looking up!

I'm back on line thanks to OREGON_FLYER.
THANKS ALL your all family too. I'm still getting caught up with orders and I might open back up this spring. I doing fine. Mom's doing OK. Niece in still taking tests and the kids are healing..will take some time. My son has all my time right now. We (the family) are working hard to reduce the bail and get him home soon. $$$ is the issue. He seems up beat and looks healthy.
Thanks to all of you for the phone calls and letters. ;D
