A little bird (well a big bird) told me that this plane is about to be kitted. #^
I sure have this one on my short list for sure. I could see a blue engine under the hood on this puppy. S?P

Hi Paul,I remember that aircraft from Flying Models and I always thought she was a beautiful ship.I just can't remember if it is old enough to be Classic legal or is it Nostalgia??Did'nt the original have a McCoy 40??I hope Mr. Lynch won't mind but I think mine would be E-powered.It sure is a beautiful bird.Jeff

Hey Jeff
It's Nostalgia.
Jim would not mind at all if you did a electric.

HI Paul,
Tell Jim congratulations from us all! I have always liked the looks of that model. I am sure it is a great flying plane, Jim does such nice work.

Beautiful as always. The original had a Series 21 40 in it and I think Jim still has it. IT flew well too, but it was overshadowed by his Rabe Bearcat at the time I saw them.
Good rumor Paul.

I think he is putting some notes on the plans. Don't think a release date has been set yet.
Keep your eyes wide open.. :o

I actually owned the original Volunteer for a year or two and sold it to a member of the Peoria Area Wyreflyers. I saw it fly at SIG one year and have not seen it since.
