Back in the old days getting hacked involved hockey sticks and trying to stand in front of the other teams goal tender .

I just got a email from bob wanting me to buy a card for iTunes, that he were traveling and need me to buy for his daughter,
Had scam written all over it, just deleted and laughed
, pretty slick , but I know this was a scam

Bob, probably not really hacked in the bad sense that they would be sending from your own email account. But they do have some of your contact addresses(from who knows where) and so they make up an email account using your name to the left of the "@" sign, and another domain to the right of the "@" sign. Recipients beware these days, you have to be on guard and vet every incoming email address before opening it or clicking a link in it.
Those are called Phishing messages. Very irritating, however your computer has probably not been raided by the bad guys. But it's a good idea to use the free version of Malwarebytes Anti Malware(a.k.a. MBAM) once a week or so. Or at least before you run your regularly scheduled backup.

Yes, i got one of those along with some others. I just blow them away as I know most if not all guys/gals would use the forum or PM me. Same with the facebook friends thing. I did join the combat group so I could keep tabs on my two local combat flyers and what is happening. Don't use the phone as I can't hear on it. D>K
