I've been making quite a bit balsa dust building the Chipmunk and I didn't put the cover back on my wifes VW Cabriolet. Oops.
She was not thrilled.

At least you could simply blow it off!  I forgot to turn the exhaust fan on & pull the curtain once when doing "Just a little spraying" and had overspray find it's way to the hood of the van!!  Good old rubbing compound saved my life!

After the things I've screwed up in the twenty years I've been with my wife, I think she honestly relaxes when I work on models.  Keeps me "out of her hair" for a little while.  Dust on a car ain't as bad as some things.
