Good to be back at Buder Park
« on: July 29, 2007, 01:57:59 PM »

Now that I'm sorta relocating to the Fenton, Mo area, I hope to be participating at Buder Park soon.  This morning was a great visit to the site.  I was able to meet, talk with and watch fly, our illustrious host, Steve Smith and several others.

As soon as I find a place and settle in, I'm starting building again!  ....then I'll see how much of the pattern I remember.

Hi Herman,

I lived close to Fenton for a number of years, and still have family and friends in the area.

Our farm was east of Fenton, and north of Spring Valley Park, on Hwy 141. My 94 year old uncle, and one of his sons still live there.

As a kid, I flew my first controline airplane (Walker Firebaby) at a friends house, on Romaine Creek Road, just off Hwy 141.

Great memories of growing up in the St. Louis, and Fenton areas. Hope you enjoy living there as much as I did.

Bill
Not a flyer (age related), but still love the hobby!
