I didn’t do ANYTHING in the shop... so there!

What I did, though, was go flying!  Second time in ten years.  First tine was a week ago, was a little like a monkey fornacating a football, Geesh!

Thanks to Tom Dixon for putting me in touch with John Jordie who lives 10 miles away.  John GAVE me a not so pretty engineless tankless Twister.  I dug up a LA 40 I’m pretty sure I bought from Peabody.  Found a new tank I bought for who knows what... found a zinger prop from high school...

EVERYTHING simply worked perfectly and I’ll be darned if the mystery motor and homely plane don’t just fit like peas in a pod.  Woo hoo!!

What I have done in my shop over the last three years I’ve been meaning to get back into c/l, was build my entire youth, in the form of eight planes ready for paint all at once!

Ringmaster S-1, Dumas A-7 Corsair, Super Ringmaster, Peacemaker, Midwest ME-109, Sig Fokker, Super Chipmunk and a .15 Carrier Curtis XF something...  Pretty motivated now!

I don’t suppose anyone has a Scientific Red Devil I could either buy or copy?

The workshop isn't always for model planes.  Trying to maintain a large house and 8 acres requires a "Jack of All Trades".  Model building happens when all the  home fix-up jobs are finished.
