Anyone know who "socalman008" is on e-b? I won an engine of his on e-b on 21 Jan, and am trying to contact him to arrange payment. So far no response to my e-m's.

Same thing happened to one of my boys who bought an Akromaster....best thing to do is file an action with ebay. They will run you through all kinds of jargon about when and how to make your case, but people like that need to be pointed out and dealt with. TJMHO ;)

Just request buyer contact information. They send you the name and phone number. I have done it several times. It can be found by going to the advanced search click on it on the front page top right.

Thanks guys. I don't think it's action time, just a matter of getting in touch. The deal seems to be set up, it's just that I need the engine sent to a different address from what he's got for me, and different post cost accordingly. I have tried four e-m's so far.

Oh dear. Aplogies to Socal. His reply was in my e-b "messages" all the time. I hardly ever look there because so far any e-b corres has always been duplicated in my e-mail inbox anyway. For some reason this time it wasn't.
My chief concern was that I did not want socal to think I was defaulting on the purchase.
