HB~> 😄 My bad Robert, and you built the most accurate set of tail booms ever! Some how the laser cut ones in the kit each had a curve in all 3 of them. Thank you!

How much does it weigh?  Are you going to fly it?

Kevin, as always your work is truly stunning. Your models stand by themselves, nicely done.  I believe this was a Vintage Performance kit? Your model should be the box art. Ken

Very nice although, speaking as someone who has blown enough blades off of Fox combat engines, I would get a fiberglass or CF prop for it.

Is it meant to be a wall ornament?

It’s pretty, especially with the color-matched custom handle, but that’s an awful lot of work, fancy vinyl graphics, etc. for a model that’s going to get demolished by another flyer or simply dorked.  As Ray Fairall commented in YT: his stock model lasted half a lap, and “never again”.

Combat planes can last forever if you don't use them on contests.  Just high speed stunt for fun.

This has to be the most beautiful combat airplane that I have ever seen! Mike Hazel can fix you up with an APC 7.8 X 6 carbon fiber or fiberglass prop. Mix up some 30 or 40 percent nitro fuel and take it out and have some fun! Great job, Kevin!

Does Steve Buso know you stole his Winder?  LL~

That is a wonderful finish.  Awesome job.

Really beautiful job on the plane and even matched with the handle!  I am at the sanding stage on a Ringmaster and you are inspiring me to go the extra mile to make it a looker.

Fred, I am glad to see you caught the "never mind" reference. I've always liked Jaime Reid's work. He is the guy that designed all the SeX PiStoL's art work. He liked to use the 'Ransom note' type lettering alot.  I dont think i have ever seen a reverse stencil lettering job on an airplane before either. Yes, decide to poke fun of Sterling models when they included a balsa spar that folded the wing, when Terry Prather said he always used a spruce spar. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Ps, to the comment on vinyl, there is no vinyl on this plane everything is dope, Lacquer, and 2K acrylic urethane, wet sanded and polished. The only 'sin' is the decals on the trailing edge but its ok because i custom made them myself and there 'no edges'.

Kevin.

Maybe one of you could petition the AMA to start having appearance judging and granting appearance points for combat competition?

Or, also, allowing combat planes with high enough appearance points to fly in precision stunt competition?
